Wilf The Mighty Worrier:
King of the Jungle
No that’s not a misprint It is the” MIGHTY WORRIER” Not Warrior. You see Wilf is quite a worrier and he worries quite a bit . He actually worries about worrying. He also worries about things like Fish sucking his toes when he goes for a swim. Garden gnomes coming to life, and worse of all losing his ‘How to Stop Worrying’ pamphlet. I have to say I absolutely loved this book .Anyone with a half way decent sense of humor will truly enjoy it. Geared towards the eight to 12 year old it’s fairly easy to get thru and kids will think its just plain silly.Wilf The Mighty Worrier:King of the Jungle is the third book in the Wilf series so start with the first to really get into them. I think most kids would really enjoy the utter silliness of these books. So follow Wilf off into the Jungle to talk with the animals and see where it leads
Written by TV comedy writer Georgia Pritchett this woman kmows what is funny. She has written for some of favorite shows including one of my all time favorites VEEP. The writing kind of reminds me of Time Traveling Dino’s another silly book by a British author by the name of Chris Sykes, that I also thought was well done. Each chapter is also filled with silly illustrations that only add to the fun of this book.

Wilf worries quite a lot. About quite a lot of things. Well, if we’re being totally honest, he worries about almost everything. Stuffed animals for instance. And peanut butter makes him nervous, too. And, as for those awful insects that have waggly feeler thingies instead of eyes? Well, they’re something he can’t even bear to think about.
